Job Title: Health, Safety, and Environment Manager

At New Holland Brewing Company LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environment Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing our HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with health and safety laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate environmental and workplace risks.
  • Lead and act in a manner consistent with our Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Oversee our Workers Compensation program and partner with People & Culture on workplace incidents.
  • Manage and analyze wastewater reports for compliance and make recommendations to improve wastewater discharge.
  • Ensure HSE management system and defined processes are established, applied, and maintained across the company.
Requirements:
  • Health and Safety program experience with strong understanding of OSHA standards.
  • Thorough and observant with an eye for detail.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • High aptitude for critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with New Holland's goals.
  • Ability to know and communicate the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels in the company.
  • Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift at least fifty pounds.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and be on call as needed.
  • Stamina to work up to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to drive and sit in a car for up to two hours to travel to various locations.
Desired Qualifications:
  • HACCP certified.
  • BSc/BA in Safety Management or relevant field.
