As a Manufacturing Project Manager at Conagra Brands, Inc., you will be responsible for planning and executing single or multiple projects across various engineering disciplines. Your expertise will be essential in managing project safety, scope development, cost estimates, and regular cost forecasts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within safety, cost, schedule, and performance criteria.
Key responsibilities include managing project resources, influencing team members to resolve issues, and navigating staged gate processes to take projects from concept to production. You will also be responsible for managing multiple project staffs, ensuring project planning, deliverables, reporting, and spending forecasts are managed and delivered within safety, cost, schedule, and performance success criteria.
External interaction will include equipment vendors, construction contractors, engineering services contractors, local/state/federal government agencies, and co-manufacturing organizations. Approximately 75% travel is required to internal and co-manufacturer manufacturing plants, vendors, suppliers, engineering service providers, and other sites required to complete projects.
Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 4 years of Project Management Experience or 8 years of equivalent Project Management experience in the food or pharmaceutical or industrial industries. Direct accountability for projects with complexity of at least $5 million is also required.
