We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team at Allied Digestive Health in Brooklyn, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to work closely with our physicians in a beautiful office setting.
Job SummaryThe APRN will be responsible for managing health issues and coordinating care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role requires prior gastroenterology experience and involves working closely with physicians to implement and evaluate treatment plans in compliance with healthcare standards.
About the Role- This is an Inpatient and Outpatient role.
- Prior Gastroenterology experience is required.
The APRN will be responsible for:
- Managing health problems and coordinating healthcare for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations.
- Complying with the standards of care, which include assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status and clinical management.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- MUST HAVE GASTROENTEROLOGY EXPERIENCE FOR THIS ROLE.
- Current Licensure NY in good standing.
- Current DEA certificate.
- Proficient in EMR and Telehealth required.
- At least 3-5 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Bi-Lingual Russian or Ukrainian a plus.
