Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to residents, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and providing wound care.
- Oversee and mentor a team of resident assistants, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent care to our residents.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
- Collaborate with the nursing director and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and technologies in long-term care.
- Valid NYS LPN license
- 1+ year of experience working in a direct patient care role, handling med passes
- 1+ year of experience as a LPN, with a willingness to help train the right candidate to further their skills
- Understanding of assisted living regulations
- Maintain the highest level of customer service while completing day-to-day duties and responsibilities
- Communicate effectively in a fast-paced work environment
- Engage within a team setting
- Strong leadership and mentorship of the Resident Assistant staff
- Think, act, and intervene independently in both routine and emergency situations
- Passion to learn, grow, and develop in the nursing field
- A competitive salary range of $30.10 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education
