Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting healthy lifestyles through education and support.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing expert pharmacy consulting services to patients, collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient care, conducting thorough reviews of prescriptions, and developing and maintaining relationships with local medical community to enhance patient care and promote the pharmacy business.

You will also be expected to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in pharmacy practice and apply your knowledge to improve patient care and efficiency. In addition, you will participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert pharmacy consulting services to patients

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and health outcomes

• Conduct thorough reviews of prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements

• Develop and maintain relationships with local medical community to enhance patient care and promote the pharmacy business

• Stay up-to-date on latest developments in pharmacy practice and apply knowledge to improve patient care and efficiency

Requirements

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution

• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district

• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws

• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salaries and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $52.00 - $80.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we provide opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
