Job DescriptionAssistant Director, Major Infrastructure Projects
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Assistant Director in the Major Infrastructure Projects Team. As part of this role, you will oversee a range of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulatory activities in accordance with relevant legislation, policy, and procedures under minimal direction and supervision.
Your key responsibilities will include WHS related prevention programs, campaigns, health and safety audits, stakeholder engagement, presentations, inspections, and investigations across major construction projects in the Commonwealth jurisdiction.
Requirements- Experience within a work health and safety, regulatory, law enforcement, and/or construction environment.
- Certificate IV in WHS, WHS Lead Auditor, Certificate IV in Government (Investigation), or similar Construction qualifications.
Comcare offers a range of benefits including a six-month probationary period for new engagements, character clearance, health clearance, and the opportunity to undertake job-specific training as provided by Comcare.
