Job Overview

DMI Companies, a leading manufacturer of HVAC accessories, is seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition and Development Specialist to support the administration and expansion of Workforce Development programs across all DMI manufacturing facilities.

About the Role:

  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including Applicant Tracking System, employee training files, and documentation for New Hire Orientation and Training Plans.
  • Conduct phone screens, schedule interviews, and review applications to ensure seamless candidate experience.
  • Develop and maintain a robust Training Tracker, facilitating follow-up and verification of training completion and submission.
  • Coordinate MFG Day events, document registrations, and pull contact information for interested students and potential candidates.
  • Promote recruiting outreach, attend career fairs, and facilitate onsite events/tours as directed by the Workforce Development Manager.
  • Audit and maintain documentation for New Hire Survey results and grant research, documentation, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; experience in customer service, recruiting, and relationship-building preferred.
  • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact productively with diverse audiences.
  • Skilled at managing time, prioritizing tasks, and making sound decisions to drive productivity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Teams.
