About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Bristol Industries, LLC. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for maximizing efficiency through the process of set-ups and operations of various automatic machines for the manufacture of all types of parts for new or revised products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform, set up, and operate Komatsu and Maypresses to produce machined parts according to blueprints, router package specifications, and/or special instructions.
  • Understand and use drawings, manuals, and work instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work-piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
  • Start and observe on-going machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls or control media as required.
  • Verify conformance of finished work-piece to specifications.
  • Prepare and verify production machine operations on trial run to ensure accuracy of machine settings.
  • Select tooling and fixtures pertaining to the production operation of various types of machines.
  • Check tooling and replace as needed to keep machine running.
  • Inspect parts for quality and appropriate tolerance using measuring tools.
Requirements
  • Working experience of manufacturing environment.
  • 5 years related industrial machine shop experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
