Vascular Sonographer

Medical Staffing Solutions, USA is seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team of diagnostic imaging specialists. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vascular imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

• Perform peripheral vascular, venous reflux, and carotid imaging procedures in accordance with lab protocols and standard practices.
• Assist physicians during vein center procedures and review inpatient requisitions to prioritize patient lists.
• Conduct quality control checks, maintain and disinfect reusable instruments, and ensure the procurement and storage of supplies.
• Review patient information, orders, and examination images, and enter findings into the PACS system.
• Mentor and evaluate ultrasound students as required, and communicate technical and patient care information according to established processes.

• High school graduate or GED equivalency required.
• Successful completion of a CAAHEP-approved school of ultrasound or cardiovascular technology or equivalent experience.
• Current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or certification within one year of hire date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon hire.

• Knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound principles, concepts, and methodology sufficient to perform high-quality diagnostic studies.
• Ability to identify vascular structures viewed from various angles and recognize differences between healthy and pathological areas.
• Knowledge of ultrasound physics and instrumentation sufficient to identify and eliminate artifact and optimize images.
