Abrasive Blasting Technician

Position Title: Abrasive Blasting Technician / Powder Coating Assistant

Compensation starting at $18/hour for DAYSHIFT, Monday through Friday.

Become a vital member of our team as an Abrasive Blasting Technician or Powder Coating Assistant. In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks such as eliminating contaminants like paint and rust from surfaces using high-pressure abrasive materials, as well as applying powder coatings to metal surfaces. Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up equipment and ensuring proper functionality.
• Loading and unloading parts for processing.
• Maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
• Assisting with minor maintenance duties.
• Manually tracking your work activities.

This position is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with a duration of 90 days.

This role is fully on-site. The work environment is a small job shop facility that is non-climate controlled, which may experience heat during summer months and cooler temperatures in winter. While the shop is kept clean, certain areas such as the welding and powder coating sections may vary in cleanliness.
