About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team at North Chapel Hill Surgery Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and ambulatory surgical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a sterile field and ensure the team maintains a sterile environment.
  • Prepare the operating room with the necessary instrumentation, equipment, and supplies.
  • Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts in a safe and accurate manner.
  • Assist in Sterile Processing as needed to sterilize and package surgical instrument trays.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and apply advanced knowledge of instrumentation for multispecialty cases.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology or Nursing program.
  • Minimum of 3 years of OR experience.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery (TS-C) certification preferred.
