Job Summary

AmeriQual Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Labor Scheduler to optimize workforce scheduling for hourly positions. This role combines traditional scheduling responsibilities with a focus on implementing and managing IT solutions to enhance scheduling efficiency, accuracy, and overall operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage shift schedules for manufacturing team members to meet production requirements and operational goals.
  • Adjust and revise schedules based on production needs, team member availability, and skill level.
  • Provide labor position and count forecasts up to 4 weeks in advance.
  • Optimal balancing of labor hours from 40-45 hours per week to sustain the weekly drop schedule.
  • Collaborate with production managers and supervisors to ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts.
  • Determine optimal balance of temporary staff support of operational requirements.
  • Address and resolve scheduling conflicts and discrepancies in a timely manner and communicate schedule changes and updates effectively to all relevant parties.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee hours, attendance, and time-off requests using HRIS/IT systems.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve scheduling processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for scheduling-related inquiries and issues from employees and management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Kronos, ADP, or similar) and IT systems management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement IT solutions effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to maintain professionalism in a high stress environment.
  • Desire to take ownership of the scheduling process and dedication to make continuous improvements.
