Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Enviri Corporation. As a key member of our Projects and Services Teams, you will be responsible for the commissioning, breakdowns, and servicing of equipment and systems supplied to our global customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install or supervise the installation of electrical and mechanical equipment aimed at improving efficiency and reliability.
  • Coordinate with customers and third-party contractors to accomplish tasks.
  • Provide training to customer representatives during commissioning, including operators, engineers, and management.
  • Prepare all documentation related to on-site activities, including site visit reports, marked-up drawings, time sheets, and commissioning documents.
  • Provide technical support to customers to resolve plant breakdown or reliability issues.
  • Perform service visits at customer facilities to troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software issues, and/or to handle scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Document any issues or product improvement ideas and present this information to the Altek team.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in an engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years' electrical or mechanical industrial installation experience.
  • ECS/CSCS Card (preferred).
  • Experience in Plant/Cast House Environments.
  • Computer literacy with MS Office, Outlook, and Adobe software.
  • Siemens/Alan Bradley Plc experience.
  • Competent in reading both Electrical and Mechanical drawings essential.
  • Hydraulic experience essential.
