Regional Sales Executive

Primary Function:
The Regional Sales Executive is responsible for driving the growth and development of TMC Transportation's customer base. This involves continuous sourcing of profitable customers that align with TMC's core values. The ideal candidate will utilize strong communication, organizational, and creativity skills to maximize revenue potential while meeting customer service and operational requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external customers to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with assigned Account Executives to build and execute sales strategies that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.
- Monitor and update key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement in customer portfolio performance.
- Lead quarterly reviews with Account Executives to discuss sales performance, customer satisfaction, and strategic plans.
- Develop and execute plans to increase wallet share with new customers and expand existing customer relationships.
- Collaborate with Business Development Representatives to onboard and manage new strategic level customers.
- Provide regular updates to the General Manager on customer portfolio performance, challenges, and successes.
- Assist in branch budgeting and annual planning to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Serve as a leader and mentor to the team, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Four-year degree in Transportation and Logistics or a related field, or equivalent experience in the transportation industry.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment and tolerate stress.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
