Job Summary

FIA NOW Employment Solutions is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our properties, addressing residents' maintenance requests promptly, and contributing to a safe and pleasant living environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance issues.
  • Monitor and replenish maintenance supplies and inventory.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks in areas such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
  • Respond promptly to residents' maintenance requests, addressing issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure the property meets safety and environmental regulations.
  • Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance procedures to ensure the longevity of equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with property management to prioritize and plan maintenance projects.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in Real Estate, apartment or residential settings.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
