The NDC Operations Supervisor is tasked with supporting the oversight of personnel and the daily functions of the donor collection facility.

In this role, you will:
Assist in the daily management of facility staff to ensure the safe and appropriate care of the donor population.
Act as NDC Manager in the absence of the same.Conduct pre-donation assessments, venipuncture, and post-venipuncture care of donors in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring accurate and timely completion of donor records.
Review donor records for accuracy and completeness. Ensure timely and legible completion of donor records.Analyze data related to quality enhancement, procedures, and products; recommend improvements.
Assist in orienting and training new staff members.
Identify and address non-routine situations that arise during phlebotomy and apheresis procedures. Implement corrective actions as necessary.
Participate in ongoing education and training in apheresis procedures, instruments, and equipment as required.
Maintain a satisfactory level of proficiency in necessary phlebotomy and apheresis procedures.
Actively recruit donors.
Enforce The Blood Center's policies on EEO, Affirmative Action, and Safety/Health.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
We are looking for someone who possesses:
High school Diploma or GED.
2 years of experience in the medical field.
Customer Service experience.
Certificate of Phlebotomy.
EMT Certification or Associate Degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
