Position Summary

The Client Inspection Operations Manager will be dedicated to guaranteeing that our clients experience exceptional service during their evaluations of our offerings, ensuring uniformity across various locations. This role will involve the effective coordination of work transfers between production facilities and installation sites. As the primary manufacturing liaison during client evaluations, the Manager will facilitate, host, and translate client feedback into actionable tasks that are monitored throughout their progression from initiation to completion, irrespective of the site.

Frequent travel will be required to provide support at multiple manufacturing and installation locations under the purview of the production team. The ability to interpret client feedback into clear, actionable steps that meet their requirements is crucial.

The ideal candidate will possess the experience and capabilities to act as the internal facilitator for resolving discrepancies. They should be able to view our products from the clients' perspective, proactively identifying their needs and addressing their feedback. Experience collaborating with Quality and Manufacturing teams, as well as involvement in aircraft modifications, is essential. The candidate should be comfortable working in a developmental and prototype setting, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing plans as necessary to support various programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize, plan, and oversee activities related to client on-site evaluations.
  • Establish and maintain precise records of evaluations and resolutions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to achieve effective resolutions.
  • Maintain tracking and reporting tools for timely updates to clients on progress.
  • Continuously enhance evaluation processes and protocols.
  • Build and nurture positive client relationships.
  • Lead and coordinate the Manufacturing Ready to Start process meetings.
  • Facilitate daily GEMBA activities and actively participate in Kaizen workshops.
  • Contribute to FOD audits, 5S initiatives, and Safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with senior management, design, engineering, project teams, and other necessary departments.
  • Engage closely with Manufacturing and Installation teams.
  • Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and full shift work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Certification Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or engineering disciplines, accompanied by a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the aerospace sector or aircraft interior industry is required.
