Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Produce Department Leader to join our team at IGA Southeast. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the produce/floral department.

About You
  • You have 3+ years of experience in produce management or a related field.
  • You possess excellent leadership skills and can effectively supervise and train a team.
  • You have strong communication skills and can interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  2. Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and expenses.
  3. Oversee daily operations, including receiving, stocking, and merchandising.
  4. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.
  6. Train and develop team members to improve their skills and performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. constantly.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and software.
