Job Summary

The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our long-term care pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team of pharmacists, technicians, and interns to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of pharmacy dispensing and input departments
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure safe and effective patient care
  • Monitor and audit controlled substances and dispensing activities
  • Manage pharmacy expenses and maintain budget requirements
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to all facilities serviced
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
  • Active Tennessee Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist license
  • 5-10 years of progressive management experience in a long-term care pharmacy
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
