Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will operate X-Ray equipment to diagnose and treat patient disease/injury under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiological procedures and be able to maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate X-Ray equipment to diagnose and treat patient disease/injury
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment
  • Provide patient care and education
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of radiological supplies
  • Perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Current Basic X-Ray Machine Operators License (BXMO) in the State of Florida
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in Primary Care setting preferred
  • Current BLS (basic life support) Certification
  • CNA/LPN/RN
Physical/Mental/Emotional Demands
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Viewing a computer monitor for long periods of time
  • Bending
  • Stretching / Reaching
  • Walking short distances
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Operating office equipment (computer, fax machines, telephones and copy machines)
  • Reading forms / Instructions / Patients Charts
