Job Summary:

Scheurer Health is seeking a Part Time Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Therapy Department. As a Licensed Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing patient assessments, oxygen and aerosol therapy, and operating and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments for appropriate, age-specific patient care planning.
  • Perform oxygen and aerosol therapy, both medicated and non-medicated.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including Arterial Blood Gases, Pulse Oximetry, and Electrocardiograms.
  • Perform Holter Monitoring and Stress Test.
  • Provide patient stabilization and transport for all ages.

Requirements:

  • Completed an accredited respiratory therapy education program.
  • Successfully completed the National Board for Respiratory Care examination.
  • Licensure through the State of Michigan required.
  • Current certifications for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), and one-year experience.
