Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues and fault codes present in the vehicle's electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance job knowledge and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians to identify vehicle issues and propose solutions.
  • Conduct system evaluations, test drives, and diagnostic assessments to ascertain necessary repair work.
  • Promote and facilitate routine maintenance services such as oil changes, air conditioning servicing, fluid flushing, brake replacements, tire rotations, and more.

Qualifications

  • A valid driver's license is essential for this role.
  • The ideal candidate should possess an associate's degree from a technical institution or a relevant automotive program and/or ASE certification.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Strong communication skills and a dedicated work ethic are vital.
  • Proficiency in utilizing hand tools and other equipment for vehicle repairs is necessary.
