About the Role

Cable Communication Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator - Traveling to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for effectively and safely operating and performing daily maintenance on heavy equipment. This may include (but is not limited to) use of motor graders, backhoes, scrapers, dozers, skid steers, trenchers, excavators, loaders, forklift/telehandlers, water trucks, compactors, dump trucks, semi-trucks, mulchers, and seeders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and follow safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
  • Locate underground services, such as pipes or wires, prior to beginning work.
  • Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met.
  • Adjust handwheels and depress pedals to control attachments, such as blades, buckets, scrapers, or swing booms.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid, Active CDL A Required
  • Active Tanker Endorsement
  • DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate Card
