We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant I to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Nursing Assistant I, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in our skilled nursing facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform activities of daily living for or with residents/patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and privacy.
- Provide transportation for residents/patients to designated areas within the facility.
- Assist with changing bed linens, running errands, directing visitors, and answering telephones.
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, as directed.
- Communicate pertinent resident/patient information to appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all infection control regulations and complete annual competencies and in-service education requirements.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant Training program and listing with the Nurse Aide Registry with the Department of Facility Services.
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience in a clinical specialty is desired.
- A competitive salary of $24.16 per hour (hiring range).
