  • Access Control: Monitor and control access to our facilities, ensuring that only authorized individuals are granted access.
  • Patrols and Inspections: Conduct regular patrols of our facilities and grounds, identifying and addressing any potential security risks or concerns.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our patients, visitors, and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of incidents, security breaches, and other security-related events.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of security or related experience; experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Certifications: Must possess and maintain a valid Massachusetts driver's license; must obtain and maintain required certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid, CPI De-Escalation Training, and International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Basic Officer Certification.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; ability to handle complex and stressful situations; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
