Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions to individuals in need.
  • Provide mental health consultation and training to facility staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
  • Collaborate with the Mental Health Coordinator, Clinical Supervisor, or Mental Health Director to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Participate in staff meetings, in-service training programs, and specialized clinical services to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Masters degree in a behavioral or social science field from an accredited college or university.
  • Coursework and professional experience indicating knowledge of mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, psychological assessment techniques, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or similar licensure in the state from the appropriate state licensing board.
