About the Role:
The Human Resources Coordinator provides support to the local HR team, ensuring the smooth operation of HR-related tasks. This role involves partnering with the HR team, maintaining accurate records, and handling sensitive information with confidentiality.
Your Responsibilities:
- Participate in auditing timekeeping records and create reports to optimize system utilization.
- Order and maintain office supplies and forms, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Process department invoices for payment and audit/approve for payment.
- Responsible for creating/editing documents and presentations, updating employee information in company databases, preparing employment packages, handling benefits information, and processing termination paperwork.
- Assist HR staff with specified projects, such as planning company events.
- Maintain human resource information system records and compile reports from the database as needed.
- Explain company policies and procedures to employees.
- Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
- Help maintain company organization charts and the employee directory.
- Act as an interpreter for HR and business needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred (Preferred Major: Business, Human Resources, or other related field).
- PHR, SHRM-CP preferred.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office programs; Intermediate working knowledge in Excel and Power Point.
- Strong computer skills.
- Time management skills.
- Customer/Client Service Focus.
- Ethical Conduct/Confidentiality.
- Personal Effectiveness/Credibility.
- Teamwork/Cooperation.
- 2 years of human resources experience or in a similar field preferred.
