Overview

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and supervise the daily operation of radiology patient services, including directing and educating staff, maintaining equipment and supplies, and performing advanced procedures as needed.
  • Schedule and provide direction to Radiologic Technologists, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient patient flow.
  • Coordinate the flow of patients through diagnostic procedures, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • May perform routine and complex radiologic procedures, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Assist radiologists in evaluating new products and equipment, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Oversee the maintenance of x-ray equipment and resolve any malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Establish quality measures and standards, conducting regular audits and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct employee evaluations and address problems by providing employees with feedback on an ongoing basis, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and conduct employee training programs, ensuring our team members have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Regularly meet with and communicate operational changes to staff, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Assist in developing short and long-term goals and objectives, aligning with the department's strategic plan.
  • Assist in reviewing and administering departmental policies, procedures, and related forms in accordance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and at a minimum be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • CPR certification required.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience to include at minimum of one (1) year supervisory or Level 3 RT experience.
