Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Distribution Delivery Driver to join our team at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to clients across the state, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery Operations: Deliver products to bars, restaurants, hotels, and other customer locations, adhering to safe and courteous operation of delivery vehicles.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, ensuring they are in good working order and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Customer Service: Receive payment for goods delivered, sort merchandise by invoice for delivery, and check in money and returned goods daily with the Driver Check-in & Accounting Cashier.
  • Logistics and Planning: Plan trip logistics, obtain necessary documents to transport goods, and ensure cargo is secured properly compliant with safety requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Department of Transportation (DOT) certified and Class A Commercial Driver's License required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk, bend, reach, stand, squat, and stoop for extended periods, with occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs.
