Job Summary

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our distinguished cancer medicine faculty. As a key member of our team, you will provide advanced clinical care to patients with malignant and benign hematology and general medical oncology conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate new and existing patients in collaboration with staff physicians and a multidisciplinary team.
  • Complete outpatient documentation in a timely fashion and perform clinic procedures as applicable.
  • Work in a team-based environment to provide outpatient ambulatory clinic support to patients undergoing active chemotherapy and short-term and long-term surveillance.
  • Collect and document data, order diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and consultations, and provide direct patient care services.

Baptist Health is partnering with MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston to create the Baptist Health MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville.
