About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of large ground up grading and earthwork projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Review and approve labor rates, manage contract administration, and develop a program to maintain good client relations.
  • Leadership: Initiate and attend meetings with clients for problem resolution and planning, oversee and approve job cost updates and cash flow projections, and review and approve change orders.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement a plan for project completion and turnover, maintain daily records, and ensure timely completion of performance evaluations.
  • Strategic Planning: Recommend organizational, procedural, and staff changes, and review and approve promotions up to General Foreman.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of construction experience with 3+ years in a Superintendent/Leadership capacity.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, identify and resolve problems, and access all areas on a construction project site.
  • Regular, reliable attendance and ability to work productively and meet deadlines.
