Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering daily lesson plans and instructional materials for a small group of students. You will work closely with our team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic success and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver daily lesson plans and instructional materials for a small group of students
  • Provide individualized support to students as needed
  • Use technology to support and differentiate instruction
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and hospital staff regarding student progress and needs
  • Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
  • Update daily attendance and create daily session reports for each student

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • VT State Teaching Certification or ability to obtain
  • Comfortable working with adolescents
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of subject matter relevant to students' needs
