Clinical Education Director Respiratory Therapy Faculty

The Southeast Technical College seeks a qualified Clinical Education Director for our Respiratory Therapy program. In this role, you will lead the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the clinical education and laboratory curriculum in compliance with industry standards.
This position involves managing the program's clinical operations, including organizing, developing, and administering the clinical curriculum. You will provide instruction and assessment of student learning in respiratory therapy to prepare students for an entry-level position in that field.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and teach relevant curriculum that provides classroom theory and laboratory application and prepares students for entry-level positions in the field.
- Plan and secure locations for practical skills development.
- Ensure students have adequate supervision and assessment at clinical sites.
- Maintain frequent, regular, and consistent contact with students, clinical faculty, and clinical affiliates at all program locations.
- Ongoing assessment of the effectiveness of the clinical training for all students.
- Work with the program director to ensure that student clinical exposures are coordinated with their didactic and laboratory education.
- Assume other responsibilities such as administrative tasks and providing education in both classroom and laboratory settings or as determined by the program sponsor/when assigned.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in respiratory therapy and experience in teaching or clinical practice. A valid Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential and current state license are required. Completion of the CoARC Key Personnel Academy (KPA) within 36 months prior to hire or 24 months of assumption of position is also preferred.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated hourly wage range for this position is $35.52-$46.78 per hour. The compensation package includes comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
