The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing comprehensive nephrology care for inpatient and outpatient VA Beneficiaries. Key responsibilities include conducting consultations, diagnoses, therapies, and treatments for kidney disease patients, performing dialysis procedures, and managing complications. The successful candidate will also supervise and sign off on physician assistant notes, medications, and orders, participate in inpatient consultation, rounding, weekend rounding, and on-call coverage, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Requirements include the ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently, a medical degree from an accredited medical school, board certification/board eligibility in Nephrology, and a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. Additionally, the candidate must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
