**Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team at Veritas Funding. As a key member of our loan processing department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA mortgage loans.

**Estimated Salary:** $65,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Description:
A successful Senior Mortgage Loan Processor must possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring the overall lending process, identifying potential issues, and communicating with borrowers and loan officers to ensure timely closure of loans. You will analyze loan-to-value ratios, debt-to-income ratios, credit reports, and other documentation to identify potential fraud or misrepresentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for ordering and reviewing third-party documentation, staying current with federal and state regulations, and verifying compliance with company standards and guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Monitor the overall lending process and identify potential issues that could impact timely closure of loans.
• Analyze loan-to-value ratio, debt-to-income ratio, credit report, application, income, and assets, source(s) of down payment funds, and examine supporting documentation to identify potential fraud or misrepresentation.
• Identify potential issues and communicate to borrower and loan officer.
• Order and review all third-party documentation, including credit checks, title reports, appraisals, tax returns, verifications of employment/assets, etc., to identify and address potential issues.

Requirements and Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have a total recent work experience of three or more years as a Loan Processor, preferably processing conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA mortgage loans. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is also required. Fluency in both English and Spanish is necessary to communicate effectively with internal and external customers. You should possess sound judgment, the ability to think critically, and strong attention to detail. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
