Job Overview
Under direct supervision, perform essential clerical and routine administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Issue parking permits and temporary access passes.
2. Enter parking violation data and manage fine processing.
3. Provide basic administrative support, including typing standard correspondence.
4. Welcome visitors, manage incoming calls, and direct them appropriately.
5. Organize and prepare incoming and outgoing mail, including faxes.
6. Conduct basic research and compile routine statistical reports.
7. Process appeals and maintain accurate records.
8. Manage filing of correspondence and other documentation.
9. Assist in the procurement and management of office supplies.
10. Coordinate equipment maintenance as needed.
11. Support the organization of meetings or workshops, including reserving and preparing venues.
12. Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with no prior experience necessary (on-the-job training will be provided).
- Demonstrated experience in delivering effective customer service.
- Familiarity with office practices and procedures.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in various software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, and presentation tools.
Special Conditions:
- This position is security-sensitive as defined under applicable regulations; the selected candidate will undergo a criminal background check as required by law and institutional policies.
- The organization is establishing a pool of applicants for part-time staff roles, which will be utilized as openings occur. Applications will remain active for approximately one year.
