Key Responsibilities

The role involves a variety of tasks, including:

  • Financial Oversight: Aid in the documentation and management of construction contract modifications, including preparing cost estimates and reviewing proposals.
  • Scheduling Management: Evaluate existing project timelines, including proposed adjustments, and communicate any delays to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), suggesting necessary changes.
  • Meeting Participation: Attend and contribute to project meetings to monitor progress and discuss scheduling.
  • Conflict Resolution Support: Maintain detailed records of project-related issues and assist in resolving conflicts by documenting regular progress meetings with all stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct routine inspections during construction to identify non-compliance with contract specifications, documenting findings and coordinating with contractors for necessary corrections.
  • Additional Services: Manage various construction-related tasks, including reviewing submittals, responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), and tracking material deliveries.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or building construction.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction administration for large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction administration practices, including contract management and budget oversight.
  • Familiarity with architectural and engineering principles, as well as project management methodologies.
  • Understanding of medical facility systems and their interconnections, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Awareness of relevant government and industry standards pertaining to healthcare facilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
