Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing exterior components for our electric vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop exterior components, including fascias, FEM, claddings, pillar trims, and badges.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality design that meets system requirements.
  • Collaborate with the studio team to provide feedback and generate high-quality A-surfaces that meet DFM requirements.
  • Develop CAD concepts for issues, detailed 2D sections, and concept 3D CAD during initial development.
  • Mentor junior design engineers and provide guidance on design principles and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient design development.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in parametric CAD, preferably with Catia.
  • 6+ years of experience with various manufacturing processes, including injection molding, compression molding, and 2-shot molding.
  • 6+ years of design experience with injected molding plastics A-Class components and B-side bracketry.
  • 2+ years of experience with castings, extrusions, and forgings.
  • Strong understanding of automotive design and development processes, system requirements, and engineering best practices.
  • Proficiency in Catia, Enovia, or similar tools, including drawing and modeling practices and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
What We Offer
