This role is essential for executing HVAC and refrigeration installations, renovations, maintenance, and energy efficiency solutions. The successful candidate will be tasked with the installation of refrigeration systems in accordance with client specifications, relevant building regulations, and proper piping techniques.

  • Assist in construction projects by piping cooler boxes and refrigeration units, including necessary electrical wiring to finalize the installation.
  • Install pipe supports as instructed by the supervisor.
  • Contribute to construction efforts by welding and slip-hosing copper pipes, while supporting the supervisor on-site.
  • Handle cooler box coils and set up new supermarket refrigeration systems or upgrade existing ones.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience, along with trade or technical school coursework.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction sector is preferred, with hands-on field experience in commercial refrigeration, electrical work, and fixture installation.
  • EPA Certification (Type II) is required.
  • Proficiency in copper brazing and experience in market remodeling.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Understanding of electrical systems and capability to perform wiring for installations.
  • Familiarity with carpentry, refrigeration systems, plumbing, and the ability to interpret blueprints.
