Refrigerated Warehouse Associate

As a Cooler Warehouse Associate, you will be integral to our shipping operations, ensuring that high-quality products are packaged, prepared, and loaded for timely delivery to our customers.

• Conduct precise counting and documentation of products on load-out sheets, including details such as quantity, code, loader name, and checker initials.
• Identify and report any non-compliant products (e.g., incorrect codes, labeling issues, short fills, damaged cartons) for reprocessing.
• Examine available products by code date, both visually and electronically, to maintain proper product rotation.
• Organize all products in the staging area for loading.
• Complete all necessary documentation and scheduled product inspections.
• Apply safety seals on trailers and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Rotate, stack, and store products in the cooler while maintaining cleanliness in the work area during the shift and rinsing affected products as needed.
• Alert the supervisor if any substandard or damaged products are received from the production area.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Comply with all safety and security protocols.
• Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently.
• Follow all food safety and quality system requirements to align with regulatory, customer, and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) standards.
• Maintain dependable attendance and consistent work hours.
• Perform additional assigned responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• A High School diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of experience in a refrigerated warehouse or shipping environment is required.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts is essential.
• Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and accurately document data is necessary.
• Prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, are preferred.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Must be capable of standing, walking, kneeling, and bending for the duration of the shift.
• Occasional climbing or balancing may be required.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of more than 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in a wet environment is necessary.
