Key Responsibilities
  • Compound, prepare, and dispense radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician prescriptions and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform quality control testing on all dispensed products, assessing medications for identity, purity, and strength.
  • Comply with all company, state, and federal regulations for the handling and shipping of radioactive materials.
  • Assist the Pharmacy Manager in overseeing pharmacy staff, technicians, lab workers, and drivers.
  • Provide clinical support for customers with radiopharmaceutical questions and inform management of complaints or requests in a timely manner.
  • Train and instruct pharmacy technicians, lab assistants, and nuclear medicine technology students.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and comply with all company safety standards and federal, state, and local laws.
Requirements
  • Registered Pharmacist with 1+ years of nuclear pharmacist experience preferred.
  • Active pharmacy license in the state worked in.
  • NRC or state Authorized User Status designation in the state worked in.
  • Ability to work a variety of schedules, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
