Key Responsibilities- Consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and other professionals to develop and implement educational and therapeutic programs.
- Assess and interpret the intellectual, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students, and provide recommendations for remediation and support.
- Prepare and present written assessment reports to parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams and reviews, and contribute to the development of school services promoting positive mental health and effective learning environments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and other staff members on issues related to child development, curriculum, and testing and measurement.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Arizona Credential authorizing the performance of psychological services.
- ADE School Psychologist Certification.
- Graduate degree from a NASP-approved School Psychology program.
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Card.
This position requires occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to see and hear within normal range with or without correction.
