Church Ministry Assistant Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to serve as a Church Ministry Assistant at Evangel Church. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the ministries of the church, working closely with the Campus Pastor, Adult Discipleship, NextSteps, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Campus Pastor, including calendar management, meeting minutes, and other duties as assigned.
  • Manage ministry administrative platforms, such as Asana, CCB (calendar + forms), Google Calendar, and Calendly, for Adult Discipleship and NextSteps.
  • Assist in coordinating ministry events for the Bismarck Campus, including Connect Groups, Inspire, Heart & Soul, etc.
  • Provide office support, including phone calls, walk-ins, sending church mailings, and other admin professional collaboration when necessary.
  • Assist with project management and goal execution within the campus.
  • Support Sunday Services and Special Events, including setup/teardown, coordination, and execution.
Requirements:
  • Computer proficiency: Comfortable with technology and interest in learning new technologies as required.
  • Able to execute weekly rhythms while remaining adaptable to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to create and maintain various systems and processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
  • Self-starter.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Maintains confidentiality.
Salary Range:

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
