Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning Specialist to join our team at Areté Associates. In this role, you will be responsible for compiling and reviewing budgets for divisional business units, utilizing actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other data sources to manage funds and ensure proper financial administration.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to senior management. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to prepare financial plans, generate regular and special-purpose reports, maintain historical records, analyze trends, establish cost rates and personnel forecasts, and conduct comparative evaluations of actual costs against budgeted funds.

Responsibilities
  • Compile and review budgets for divisional business units

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field and 6+ years' experience or Master's degree in Finance or related field and 4+ years' experience
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Familiarity with SBIR/STTR contracts
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top-Secret Security Clearance
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Expert proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

Salary Information

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
