This outpatient facility specializes in a range of services, including Behavioral Health Care, Primary Care, Occupational Therapy, and Personal Care. The clinic is dedicated to enhancing access to healthcare for Veterans through innovative Telehealth solutions, utilizing advanced technology such as video conferencing and health monitoring tools to connect patients with their healthcare teams. Physician Responsibilities
- Deliver medical services in an outpatient setting at the Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC).
- Conduct patient evaluations for general medical issues, including performing comprehensive history and physical examinations, documenting electronic progress notes, scheduling follow-up appointments, and managing lab and imaging orders.
- Act as a primary care provider, coordinating referrals to specialists as necessary.
- Engage in quality management initiatives relevant to clinical responsibilities.
- Fulfill routine administrative tasks in addition to clinical duties.
- Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to medical staff discussions.
- Adhere to established VA policies and medical staff bylaws in all service delivery.
- Utilize electronic systems for order entry and prescription management.
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).
- Must possess a valid medical license to practice in any state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association is required.
