Position Overview:

The Linen Services Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that our hotel maintains a consistent supply of clean linens for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of linen processing, which includes collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading, and unloading of washers and dryers.
  • Wash and dry all soiled linens, towels, and rags as directed by management.
  • Sort and remove dirty linens and towels from laundry carts.
  • Fold linens and towels, restocking linen carts as necessary.
  • Understand and operate washing machines and dryers efficiently.
  • Perform daily cleaning of dryer filters and maintain all laundry equipment as per training.
  • Adhere to safe work practices to ensure the safety of guests and fellow team members.
  • Maintain cleanliness of laundry floors and ensure linens are stored properly.
  • Keep laundry carts organized and free from debris.
  • Familiarize yourself with all company policies and brand standards.
  • Restock linen closets throughout the hotel as needed.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism under stress.
  • Capability to push/pull laundry carts, with potential weights varying.
  • Ability to transfer linens from washer to dryer, handling weights between 25-150 lbs.
  • Clear conveyance of information and ideas.
  • Genuine desire to serve all guests.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
