Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Tech to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all hard surfaces, including floors, walls, and countertops
  • Perform dusting and wet mopping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Strip, wax, and buff floors to maintain their appearance and extend their lifespan
  • Shampoo and extract carpets to remove dirt and stains
  • Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and soiled linen in a timely and efficient manner
  • Report any equipment or cleaning product needs or malfunctions to your supervisor
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure a sanitary environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
