Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Surgical Technology courses at College of DuPage. The successful candidate will be responsible for course planning, instruction, and student evaluation in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality instructional content in Surgical Technology courses
  • Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback
  • Meet with students, respond to their inquiries, and provide support
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Surgical Technology or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Surgical Technology, either in the operating room or as an instructor
  • National certification in Surgical Technology (e.g., CRCST, CSPDT)
  • Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in curriculum development and instructional design
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional strategies
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
