Vascular Ultrasound Specialist

Job Summary:

The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for operating ultrasound diagnostic equipment to produce high-quality images of arterial and vascular studies. This role requires a strong understanding of ultrasound technology and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate ultrasound diagnostic equipment to produce high-quality images of arterial and vascular studies
Perform duplex vascular scans, including 2D, color, and pulsed wave Doppler examinations
Evaluate arterial and venous structures, including measurement and calculation of percent of stenosis of arteries and presence of deep vein thrombosis
Assist patients in assuming physical positions for required exposure to ultrasound waves

Requirements:

High School diploma or Equivalency required
ARDMS/ARRT Registered
At least 1 year experience in a hospital setting preferred
