Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer II to contribute to our mission.

** Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph is mandatory for consideration **

Role Responsibilities:

As a Systems Engineer II, you will provide essential engineering support to Enabled Source Operations (ESO) by revitalizing a metrics system that integrates data from various agency production systems and ESO-controlled NIFIs. This system will serve as a comprehensive tool for engineers, analysts, and managers, requiring diverse views tailored to different user needs. Key responsibilities include:
  • Enhancing the ESO metrics system or designing a new process to effectively display data flow metrics using tools such as Elastic Search, Kibana, or Splunk.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and document information and capability requirements, ensuring alignment with solution providers.
  • Representing ESO interests as data flow metric tools evolve, assisting Collection Managers and Technical Leads in addressing metric-related inquiries.
  • Working with subject matter experts to understand current business objectives and analytic workflows within the ESO mission area.
  • Documenting and disseminating advanced analytic logic to enhance user understanding and evaluation of results.
  • Creating solutions to extract metrics from agency production systems utilizing REST API, Jupyter Notebook, or other methodologies.
Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience in systems engineering within similar programs and contracts.
  • A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution. Alternatively, five (5) years of additional experience may substitute for a degree.
Clearance Requirement:
  • TS/SCI w/ POLYGRAPH is required prior to consideration.
